Philosophy of MCDS Athletics

At MCDS we believe in education-based athletics allowing our competitive sports to play an active role in our students’ overall experience.  MCDS Athletics offers students opportunities to be leaders, to value teamwork, to respect others and fair play and to improve sports skills in a competitive and healthy learning environment.

Building Teamwork & Self-Confidence

We offers students the opportunity to develop teamwork, self-confidence, perseverance, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of physical activity. Each year MCDS evaluates new sports, programs, and ideas to further expand opportunities for our students.

Student-athletes benefit from our carefully maintained facilities, including our collegiate-level track and gymnasium, as well as our dedicated coaches and supportive school spirit. Our Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) cooperative partnerships with other local high schools provide a range of additional varsity sport challenges to our high school student-athletes.
